Description: This project consisted on an hand-drawn animation booklet portraying a significant moment in the main character’s life. The figure is walking up the stairs on her own until she comes across someone she knows in one of the floors of the building. She watches silently as the other person strikes up conversation with her but at a point what the interlocutor says stops being of significance and form dissipates merging into one.
In this project I explore the construct of social communication and what detachment feels like. I test the limits of how these two unmaterial subjects can be materialised into a sequence of around 200 drawings.
