Description: How do filler words affect our perception when interacting?
This is a social interaction prototype to further research and understand the place of fillers in every-day life communication.
The viewers are invited to interact with the prototype by coming close and touching the black dots. Every one of the black dots plays a roughly ten second long audio made solely of fillers, if touched.
By observing this prototype in use and wanting to engange and capture the viewers attention, I went on to develop the project «Speaking without words». A performance which undoubtedly integrates the viewers attention in the piece.
